The location
Our hotel,"Evdion", lies in the village of Nei Pori a beautiful, coastal village located on the west coast of the Aegean sea and at the foot of mountain Olympus the home place of the ancient Greek gods.
The hotel is easily reached from either Thessaloniki (1.30 hour from Macedonia airport) or Athens (5 hours from El. Venizelos airport).You can also get there by train from both Thessaloniki and Athens.

For longer distances you can take a taxi, a bus or hire a car from a " Rent a car" business. In addition travel agencies organize day trips to all important destinations within reach.
EXCURSIONS
You can visit the Tempe valley with the Peneus river flowing through it, a place of wild beauty. You can walk or climb Olympus while expert climbers experience can help you get to the top and have a breath taking experienc. Olympus according the Greek mythology was the dwelling place of Zeus and the rest of the supreme gods. History lovers can visit the Byzantine castle of Platamon, the museum and archaeological site of Dion with lots of important classical and Roman ruins and antiquities. They can also visit the tomb of King Philip II,father of Alexander the Great at Vergine and admire his golden treasure and his arm our at the local museum.
